Lagoon painted stool...

Hi Everyone!  I thought I'd show you the easy remake I did of this antique stool that I got at my first auction.  I finally got around to making it over.
I liked the dark stain but thought it needed to be jazzed up some.  I decided to tape off a couple of stripes on the seat and then spray painted it with my favorite color of spray paint, lagoon.
I love the contrast between the blue and the dark stain.
And then I took the sander to it for a light sanding.
Just enough sanding in all the right places.
I love how it turned out.  And it looks great in the studio.  What would you have done with it?  Thanks for stopping by!

  4. Very pretty and the stripe is perfect.
I'm still stuck on black and grey at the moment, but then I'm only creating stuff for me (well mostly having ideas and not creating much !).
