I made this little table using the spindles from my parents house.
Here's a picture of their living/dining room before they moved in. You see the spindles used to separate the two spaces. Too old fashioned for my parents.
So my dad took them down and gave them to me. And I have made lots of things with those spindles. I used them as table legs for the table I made my mom.
Don't mind the cords in this pic. I forgot to move them out of the way before I took the picture.
But I took it away from the wall and took some better pictures.
The top is a piece of plywood with cord-a-round attached to the side to give it a finished edge.
I like how those spindles made it back into the room where they originally came from. And I know my parents have gotten a lot of use out of it. I hope to have some finished signs to share with you in the next day or two. I have gotten a few orders for signs lately and I need to finish the one for my blog anniversary giveaway. I'm hoping to have that done tonight. Thanks for stopping by .

Apparently your dad knows you well, offering up those spindles knowing you would be a taker!
