Love makes a family. Not just DNA and blood.
I love this saying and this sign.
I love the pop of red.
This sign is made like all the rest of my hand-painted signs that I've done lately. It's made on a scrap piece of wood. The base coat is black, then a top coat of white which gets sanded to reveal the black. Then I hand paint the letters. This time using both red and black paint. I think I'm going to send this one to my brother and his family.
Over Christmas when the kids were bickering my brother would pull out a certain coaster that had this saying on it, show it to the kids and make them say it. And then he'd tell them to remember it. It got to be a kind of joke, but the kids got the point. At one time we threatened to make each kid a sign for their room. Maybe I need to make two more of them and send them all to my brother's address....without a note. Think they'd get the point? Have a great weekend and thanks for stopping by!Linking to:
