To my surprise....

Hi Everyone.  No new projects to share today.  I took last night off and it looks like I'm taking tonight off too.  But I did want to share with you the email I received yesterday from Diane over at Cozy Canadian Cottage.  She awarded me the Versatile Blogger Award.  Thank you so much Diane!

Part of receiving the award is that I need to share seven things about myself......so here goes...

1.  I love yellow flowers.
2.  My favorite color is blue.  Blue like the ocean and sky.
3.  I love Mexican food.  Both American style and Authentic Mexican food.
4.  My favorite author is Nora Roberts.
5.  I use to be a competitive swimmer from 4th grade through my senior year.
6.  I had knee surgery when I was in 8th grade.  I tore my  meniscus pad after running stairs at Carver Hawkeye Arena at swim camp.
7.  I love strawberry cheesecake.
